Embodied Breathwork + Reiki

Do you want to feel more grounded, clear, and connected to yourself without having to figure everything out in your mind first? Breathwork isn’t a quick fix… but it is one of the most direct ways to access how you feel in your body. When we intentionally connect with the breath, something begins to soften. The nervous system settles. The mind quiets. The body starts to speak. And when we do this in a space that is held with care, intention, and presence… it becomes something even more powerful. This is more than just breathing. It is a return to your body.

What is Embodied Breathwork?

Embodied Breathwork is an active, body-based practice that uses conscious, connected breathing to support emotional release, nervous system regulation, and deeper self-connection. Rather than talking through your experiences, this work invites you to feel and move what’s been stored in the body. Through the breath, we create space. Through the body, we integrate. You may experience sensation, emotion, insight, or deep stillness. Each session meets you exactly where you are and your body leads the way.

My Approach

My work is rooted in the understanding that the body holds the answers. As a certified breathing coach, and through my recent mentorship and facilitator training with Kim Lovejoy, I guide this work in a way that is both intuitive and grounded—blending breath, somatic awareness, and energy healing.

Each session may include:

  • Grounding and intention setting

  • Guided conscious connected breathing

  • Gentle somatic awareness or movement

  • Optional therapeutic touch or Reiki

  • Space for emotional expression (all of it is welcome here)

  • Integration through rest, reflection, or journaling

This is a space where you don’t have to perform, fix, or figure anything out. You get to simply be… and allow your body to do what it knows how to do.

Why Breathwork?

Many of us are moving through life disconnected from our breath. Breathing shallowly, holding tension, and operating from the neck up. Over time, this impacts how we feel physically, emotionally, and energetically. Breathwork gently brings you back into relationship with your body. It supports you in releasing what’s been held and reconnecting with your natural rhythm, intuition, and life force.

Benefits of Embodied Breathwork

  • Regulates the nervous system and reduces stress

  • Supports emotional release and processing

  • Increases clarity, intuition, and inner awareness

  • Improves oxygen flow and overall vitality

  • Releases tension, stored energy, and old patterns

  • Cultivates a deeper sense of presence and connection

    What to Expect

You’ll be guided through a rhythmic breathing pattern, typically lying down in a safe and supported space. Each experience is unique. You may feel waves of emotion, tingling sensations, movement in the body, or deep calm and stillness. There is no right or wrong way to experience this work. Your body knows what it needs.

1:1 Breathwork sessions are also available

Did you know that over a significant majority of us are using less than 50% of our breathing capacity?

Our experiences and life traumas can dramatically shift our breathing patterns.  Rather than taking intentional, full and deep inhales, we subconsciously take shallow breaths by only breathing into our shoulders and neck.  In some instances we may not even breath at all, holding our breath without even realizing.

We live in a stressed out world, running around on auto-pilot functioning only from the neck up. As a result we are compromising our health. Individuals experience non-optimal wellness due to the reduction in oxygen levels to the brain, blood and organs. The objective of Breathwork is to counteract that, breathing with intention, reconnecting into your body, and grounding yourself.

1:1 sessions are available to help and support you in re-learning how to use your breath the way your body is designed to. We will look specifically into your breathing patterns and practice techniques to get you breathing at your full capacity. We will start with an Initial Evaluation and then create a plan that best suits your needs.
