About: This essential oil, distilled from the roots of the Vetiver grass, has a deep, woody, smoky scent. Traditionally used for its calming and cooling properties, Vetiver is said to promote a grounded, centered state of mind.

Common Uses: A simple palm inhalation of Vetiver may help support a calm, confident mindset. This method may also be used to promote sleep and relaxation. Blended with a carrier oil, Vetiver is excellent for massaging sore muscles and joints after exercise or exertion. To promote clear, nourished skin, blend with a carrier oil and apply to areas of concern.

Vetiver’s aroma is potent – a single drop or less is recommended to begin with.
